Implementation

Bio

Adam is our implementation lead at BDCo.

After studying Mathematics at the University of Brighton, Adam became the first employee at the analytics consultancy Measurelab, where he quickly developed his technical skills and (admittedly more slowly) his ability to talk to people on the telephone. He rose to become Head of Implementation and left after seven years to found his own consultancy before joining forces with Geeta to start BDCo. a couple of years later.

He loves helping clients solve problems—particularly mysterious ones—and explaining things to them in a way that makes sense. He especially enjoys running training sessions and seeing people gain confidence in using tools they used to find a bit scary. He’s worked with clients ranging from FTSE 100 companies and multinationals to tiny start-ups, but whatever the size he has a burning desire to make things work the best they can.

He suffers from occasional anomic aphasia, so if he’s referring to something as a “lad”, give him a second, he’ll get there.

Hobbies

If you were to ask Adam, he’d probably say something about helping his partner CM with The Brighton Seagull, the local news project they co-founded, learning to play the organ, writing or training Brazilian jiu-jitsu. If you were to look at how much time he’s spent playing Balatro recently, it’s mostly playing Balatro.

Catchphrase

“Put the lad on the lad.”
